Join us for Wine and Cheese at our first women's event of 2010!  The Rice Summer Business Institute introduces students to the world of business, energy, and the financial markets.  In 2010, the program will enable 40 high school juniors and seniors from Houston's low and moderate income communities to attend an intensive 2 week course during their summer recess.

RSBI's goal: Sow seeds for developing diverse business leaders for Houston's future, broadening the students' expectations of career paths and possibilities for their future.

During the evening we will have the opportunity to hear from Professor Jill Foote, Senior Lecturer in Finance and Director of the Jones Schools' El Paso Corporation Finance Center and the Rice Summer Business Institute, who will share some of her experiences, and provide some insights into RSBI's very inspiring program, mission and success stories.

There will also be an opportunity for a brief tour of their 'El Paso Corporation Finance Center' - a state of the art facility that brings the markets to the students - and the students to the market.
